Your grant was declined? You have 90 days to appeal. Here's exactly how to do it.
Visit srd.sassa.gov.za and log in with your ID number and phone number.
Look for "Appeal" or "Submit Appeal" in the menu. Click it.
Choose the specific month for which your application was declined.
Choose the reason SASSA gave for declining your application.
Click submit. You will receive an SMS confirming your appeal has been received. Keep this for your records.
SASSA must respond to appeals within 60–90 days. They will SMS you with the outcome.
